My Favorite Smoothie (Whole30)

I absolutely love smoothies in the morning; I will pair them with whatever I am having for breakfast to give me an extra boost. This is my go-to smoothie right now, and I am sure it will be for a long time. My favorite thing about this smoothie is that it isn’t complicated, but tastes amazing. I also know I am putting real and good ingredients into my body in the morning, or whenever I am drinking this.


  • Strawberries
    • I use frozen strawberries because they keep longer, and it also adds an icy texture and keeps the smoothie cold.
  • Banana
  • Almond Milk
    • I love Califia Unsweetened Almond Milk. As long as you check your ingredients, many grocery stores have compliant almond milks.
  • Riced Cauliflower
    • I use frozen riced cauliflower; you can find it at WholeFoods for a pretty reasonable price.
  • Collagen
    • I use Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides which you can find at WholeFoods or Wegmans. One scoop of this is fine in the smoothie.
  • Spinach


I use a Ninja blender to blend all of the ingredients. I use one banana, and one scoop of cauliflower. The rest of the ingredients I don’t have measurements for, so the only note I have is that the amount of almond milk depends on the thickness of your smoothie. A lot of people may see riced cauliflower and get turned off by that ingredient, but you can hardly taste it. The biggest flavors in this are the strawberries and banana.
